Public speaking? Scary. With a microphone? Super-scary!
The mission of Toastmasters International is to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. This Thursday, we will gain our first hands-on experience of speaking with amplified sound. Hearing one’s own voice through speakers is an uncommon and unfamiliar situation. In our supportive atmosphere, this step outside our comfort zone will not only empower us to become even more effective and experienced communicators. You can look forward to a fun and diverse programme. Go home with this rewarding feeling that you have achieved something new!
Meet us at 7pm in the lecture theatre Erskine 031. Just come through the west entrance on Engineering Rd (near the T-intersection with Science Rd), walk down the stairs and you will find the room on your right!
